Today, at work, there was this kid who passed me a cheque for 700+ dollars. I was rather shocked when I saw the amount purely because, one month's tuition fee cant possibly amount to that much. But upon inspection, I realised it was paying for 3 kids and for 3 months. And guess who is the parent of the three kids?? Hint Hint: His surname is Neo and he makes movies. (: I was so excited cause I realised that I was speaking to this wife over the phone just a few days before! Haha..
I was wondering, what kind of a standard were we at when we were in primary one? Did we already know how to do simple addition, or were we still trying to count to ten? I almost puked blood today, cause I was teaching a p1 kid how to add 5+5, 7+3, 2+8. And the worst was that he could not even write the number 2 and 6 properly. His 2 looked like a 6 and his six looked like so crappy thing lar. I wonder if he has some learning disablilty. Seriously, he is so not ready for school. And all I could do was to count using fingers with him. I wonder if he is like that in school too or is he just doing that to play a trick on me and his poor teacher. -_-
