CN Tower 'ice missiles' close the Gardiner

TORONTO - A confluence of unusual conditions led authorities to close the Gardiner Expressway for most of the day yesterday after the city's most recognizable landmark became a launching point for "ice missiles."
The decision to shut the Gardiner after sheets of ice were seen plummeting from the CN Tower was the first time falling ice has closed the expressway that provides crucial traffic flow along the city's southern edge.
A combination of rising temperatures and shifting winds caused pieces of ice to peel off of the northeast side of the landmark tower, 435 metres up, at around 7:30 a.m. and land on the Gardiner and downtown streets.
I haven't blogged for so long.. so I decided to post a newspaper post HAHAHA...
