He's got the world's most awesome set of teeth which he shows off to the fullest extent when he smiles! Oh my god. His smile can melt anyone's heart! When he smiles, he just warms my miserable pathetic heart and makes me feel that everything is going to be okay. Awwww..
And it doesn't hurt that he wears well-tailored tight fitting shirts!

Reason number 2: 小小彬！
He plays Jerry Yan's nephew in the show. He is SOOOOOOOO lovable! Mad adorable! :D

Project Runway S7E01

So I'm going to blog about the project runway episode that I just watched. And I got excited looking at all the garments down the runway and just want to add my 2 cents view on them. By the way, Heidi Klum is pregnant AGAIN. I admittedly watched how a lot of seasons of Project Runway and it seems like she's constantly getting pregnant!! hahahahhaa

The Winner:

OKay I know I probably don't have the best fashion sense. But I seriously don't like this dress! The coin like circles drive me crazy!! It pains me to look at it. Anyway it's the winner.

Some other designs:

(1) I actually kind of like this design, although it is pretty simple and it seems to be a look that I've seen before. I think it has an interesting texture.

BUT doesn't the flowery thingey right at the center of her tummy make it look like she's wearing her uterus on the outside? (Sorry I know that was mean, but I simply couldn't resist)

(2) Talking about interesting point of view, I can't miss out Ping's design! She has such an unusual style. And she doesn't even use a mannequins when she's tailoring her piece, she just... fits them on herself!! Well I can see how using a mannequin probably doesn't really make a big difference. I'm pretty sure her pieces would easily fit different shapes and sizes.

I would love to see more of her designs and how she would be catering her style to other challenges. Oh another interesting thing, she's a physical therapist, so she says she understands body structures and body movements perfectly. Wow....

(3) Like the skirt, very feminine, flowy, pretty.

(4)This is a very simple design that I think is very chic and classy. The designer decided to completely change her design at the last minute and she actually managed to whip that up! Amazing right?

Alright lastly this is from the designer who was sent home. Yea it's not really fantastic. I'm not digging the colors and it did look very sloppy on the runway.

Breakups and weight changes

My roomie has been yelling about how she's been putting on a lot of weight recently, like ever since her breakup (which is like 2 months ago). Like my roomie is just real skinny so generally I feel that the weight she's putting on, it's pretty much good for her.

And then like I haven't seen her ex-boyfriend at all for a while, even though like he still comes over all the time, I pretty much just say hi and go back to my own world. So when I saw him today I was like: gosh, breakups really make people gain weight! (Of course that was silently to myself haha)

Actually I think I've been gaining weight too, just from my messed up lifestyle right now. Gosh I hate being so unhealthy. So yea I shouldn't comment on them anymore, since like I don't even dare step on the weighing scale. I kinda just run the other direction everytime I see one. Is there syndrome for phobia of the weighing scale? I totally have that haha.

Alright this is the stage, where I have a million things to do and I can't stop procrastinating. And it's also the stage that I just changed the template and I can't stop blogging cause I'm so excited about the new look. haha.

Oh yea as I wrote on the tagboard, I was supposed to have 2 assignments due this week, one on Tuesday and one on Friday. And so I did the one due on Tuesday right, and I went to class today and discovered that it's actually due next week! How stupid can I get?! I obviously wasn't listening the previous week cause apparently everyone else knew the due date was pushed back one week. -____-

I'm reading up for my other assignment, it's so bad right now. I have so much reading to do and I haven't come up with a solid hypothesis. So what we are supposed to do is to write a research proposal, apparently like one of those that people write to try to get funding/ grants. I think my program gets more and more creative with their assignments. They used to just ask us to write reviews. Anyways I'm really really in trouble. Wahhhhhhhhhhh. Oh there's something funny, I'm reading this journal called 'Annals of Medicine'. Is it just me or it really looks like anals of medicine? hahaha.

And somehow my coffee maker stopped working. I'm now drinking green tea. LOL. Actually it's good green tea that I have here, my cousin gave them to me, she's very into tea stuff. It smells really good and it's antioxidants! The only problem is that I feel old when I drink tea. hurhurhur.

I think one bad thing about staying up late is that I tend to get very clingy on MSN, cause I feel very lonely and I keep on trying to find people to talk to. So in the end it becomes counter- productive anyways.

I took a train in Canada for the first time. All the hype they have in their ads about 'see-ing Canada in a different light', it's all bullshit. hahahhaa. It's just really boring cause it's still winter and everything's just dark and gloomy. I fell asleep like 5 minutes after getting onboard. But now I can say that I've taken the train, though I probably won't do that ever again hurhur.

Ok I'm in such deep shit for school, I just pulled an all-nighter and the next few days, I see no sleep installed for me. *big sigh*

I think I'm feeling all weird cause I'm starting out my new year all wrong. I lost all my motivations somewhere in the snow.

I can't seem to pick myself up to do anything. I'm really frustrated and irritated with myself yet I still don't want to do anything. That's exactly why I'm feeling all weird. Oh yea and also cause today I almost didn't make it out alive from my cramps today.

So I'm really gonna pick myself up and retrieve my motivations from the snow. Then I'll feel like a more useful person and feel better about myself.

On a side note, Tzuyu told me that she's coming to Toronto the week after my reading week. Cause McGill actually has reading week later than us. I have no idea how much time I can spend with her, after reading week is also a swamp for everyone. I hope she'll find Toronto entertaining enough, she actually sounded really frustrated about Montreal. I've never really been a big fan of Toronto, so we'll see what happens haha.

Wenting seems to be busy studying and is still ignoring me here. But I'll just keep blogging.

Some photos of Grace in action LOL. I haven't practised for a long long long time and my rubbers totally deserved to be dumped out. So obviously I played like crap but then they gave me easy matches to play so all's well hahaha.

Anyway every time when I stopped playing for a long time, there's this huge inertia telling me to just stop playing. Like before this tournament I was like: oh I have work and I have so many things to do, don't feel like going at all.

But when I finally convinced myself to go and spent a long tiring day there, I actually had fun! So I guess I do like table tennis after all.

An update on my royally screwed situation.

I'm in the library here at 2.30am and I just downed a huge cup of coffee. I was actually starting to get so proud of myself that I had stayed off caffeine pretty much (except once or twice) since school started. No tea, coffee, coke. I mean that's really an achievement for me taking into consideration that I've been sleeping 4 hrs a day for like the past 2 weeks. But here I am, succumbed to coffee again. See what my stupid school is doing to me.

Talking about exchange students, in year 1 there was a German exchange student in my college. And he's like 2m tall or something and his girlfriend was like half his height.

Today's patho tutorial was pure rubbish, Mr pap-smear-spokesperson was going on and on about cervical cancer and how the government should provide free pap smear for all females. Doesn't help that he speaks in a monotone. He then went on to tell us how annoyed he is that some high priority sample only reached his lab after 7 and a quarter hours. The not-so-amusing thing was that he didn't obliterate the identity of that patient. -_-

Reason why I am annoyed? I wasted two hours listening about pap smear when I should be studying how electrons fly about in an aromatic ring. Grrreeeaaaatttt

It's like the hairdresser has magical powers; you walk away from the shop with wonderful looking hair but after a wash, it looks lack lustre.

Anyway I have been feeling so ARGH this few weeks. It's like some final teenage angst episode before becoming an adult. There's a strange impulse to strangle some people or when someone starts talking I have this great big urge to ask that person to shut up, but all not without a self-justified reason. I hope it goes away before I really do something silly. :S

Let me share something funny. There was one day when I received a mail in my inbox. It's calling out to table tennis players, for someone to do the live commentary for Olympics. The email said:

NBC (official Olympics broadcaster) is working with the World Championships Sports Network (WCSN) to do live streaming of of table tennis events from Beijing via the NBC website. To enhance the online experience, they are looking for people that can provide live color commentary (live blogging) that will be displayed on the web next to the streaming video of matches. Commentators will work from NBC's studios in Stamford, Connecticut.

So I was like, that's REALLY coollll!!! But then on 2nd thoughts, I can't even fluently name the table tennis strokes in english. -____- Argh I'm so useless.

In a twisted kind of way I really miss the library in school.

And isn't it so terribly hot these days?? I seem to be PMS-ing. Like yesterday I was going to tuition and suddenly this wave of irritation came over me. I started feeling very irritated at everything and I was on this stupid bus where the air-con doesn't seem to be working, all the more reason for me to just get pissed at the world.
And my tuition kid has not been very obedient for the past weeks so my patience was kinda running out a little. So at the start of tuition, I gave her the "da4 bian4 lian3" and I think she got scared and didn't give me anymore trouble for the rest of the day.

Don't you think it's actually fortunate that I'm not really aspiring to be a teacher? I mean my students would hate me and I would be doing permanent damage to the next generation of singapore.

Did I ever mention, I had a big crush on my biochem TA until I found out he's attached and he gave me a 84 on my biochem (85 is A). Sucks. So that TA actually looks kinda like this guy. Except that this guy is like a much more good-looking version of my TA.

I am so jet-lagged. I thought my incredible ability to sleep would help me out in my adjustments but i'm still so jet-lagged. It's like I take a 5 hr nap in the afternoon and I go back to sleep at 10pm but at like 3am I would be awake and can't go back to sleep anymore. >_________<

well I think I'm still getting enough sleep technically...
umm maybe cutting down on that afternoon nap helps.
